Ledenika Cave is in Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park, approximately 16 km by road from Vratsa. The cave is about 320 metres long and has ten halls. Its entrance is at roughly 830 metres above sea level in the Ledenishki Uval depression. Seasonal ice formations develop in the first two halls during winter, giving the cave its name. The interior is cool, with published temperatures around 8–16°C; take a warm layer and non-slip footwear.
