Bansko’s municipal museum complex comprises eight sites interpreting local archaeology, ethnography, Bulgarian Revival culture and liberation history. The municipality is crossed by the Septemvri–Dobrinishte narrow-gauge railway; Bansko also has regular bus links with Sofia and other major cities.
